Vanessa Best

I notice myself becoming inspired when the Spring season comes around. The added sunshine, warm weather, and colorful blooming plants make me excited to go outside and take charge of my wellness. When Spring comes, I always feel like I have the sudden energy to become a healthier version of myself. It’s like the wellness New Year in my opinion!

Here are some ideas of what you can do during the spring season to feel your best!

🌸 Take Nature Walks

I get so happy when I start to see the flowers blooming. The added colors bring me a lot of joy and I tend to spend more time in nature! The happiness boost from the colors makes me feel recharged and inspired to be out more. Being outdoors helps my mental health so much too.

Be sure to get the most out of this season and take lots of hot girl walks!

🦋 Be a Social Butterfly

After a long winter, I always feel ready to be more social! With the sun coming out more, you might feel this way too! Making new friends in the Spring always seems more possible than it is in the colder months. If you’re in school, take advantage of the feelings spring brings by talking to the people in your classes this term or joining a club or psssttt, join a Girl Gains chapter or start one on your campus!

💆🏾‍♀️ Do a Spring Reset

Spring cleaning and organizing/starting a new project is the perfect way to start the season. Cleaner spaces create a clear mind and allow you to be more creative.

🧘🏻‍♀️ Create a Wellness Corner

This is a place in your home or room that speaks to how you personally enjoy practicing wellness. This could be a cozy spot with a journal, a place where you have a yoga mat and weights laid out, or a plant and meditation corner. The idea is to form a space that you can see and will remind you to include healthy practices in your day!

📖 Journal Wellness-Related Goals

Take advantage of the inspiration when you feel it and write down any wellness-related goals you feel are possible to achieve this season. You can write about how your goal would feel to achieve, what it would look like to work towards, how long it would take to accomplish it, and so on. (I love Passion Planners goal map! You can print it out for free here.)

This season remember to embrace all that has come your way and know that if you aren’t feeling the most inspired, your season will come.
